Welcome foolhardy audionauts.

This package has several audio processors that attempt to morph two
different soundfiles. turpentine is probably the most effective
processor included , and it is the only one that I have chosen to
document. I have included source for twerp, which is somewhat
interesting, and turpitude, which isn't that successful.

These processors build easily on a NeXT, but they should be trivial
to port to another UNIX system. It may be useful for NeXT users to grab
another package:

princeton.edu:/pub/music/Sound_io_NeXT.tar.Z

This package has several sound throughput routines that make certain
data conversions from NeXT and NeXT/bsd soundfiles simple.

The file, "MakeItEasyOnYourself", contains documentation on the
turpentine processor.
