DocDump V3.6 ReadMe 10-Dec-1992

If you want to print the DocDump manual with DocDump, then set 'Lines/Page'
to 60, 'Support FF On', 'Chop LF Off' and 'Chars/Line' must be 62 for best
results.

The EpsonX (DD)printer driver is used when DD starts up. If your printer is
not Epson-compatible you must load an other driver, or make a new one. If so,
read the manual first.

The DocDump printer drivers:

EpsonX driver:

Works fine with all Epson compatible printers that support a combination of
Condensed and Elite-style characters.
Columnwidth: 160
Lines/Sheet: 135-161
Printers: Epson LX400/800, Epson FX1050, Star LC20, Star NL10 etc....

EpsonFX driver:

For printers that support condensed-style characters only.
Columnwidth: 137
Lines/Sheet: 135-161
Printers: Epson FX80, and older printers.

AnsiX3.64 driver:

This driver uses the printer device (PRT:). Consider making
a DD-driver for your printer instead of using this one, a DD-driver produces
far better results.
Columnwidth: 137
Lines/Sheet: 74-90
Printers: All, assumed that there is an Amiga-type printer driver available.

OldDDV2.1 driver:

This driver is used in DocDump V2.1. It is the same as the
EpsonX driver, except for the linespacing, which is 17/216 inch instead of
15/216 inch.
Columnwidth: 160
Lines/Sheet: 120-144
Printers: See EpsonX

At the moment I am working on the HPDeskjet and Laserjet Series II & III SI
printer drivers. I will release them somewhere in '93.

If you have written a nice DD-printer driver, let me know.
