Revised September 6, 1994, @ 8:30 p.m.

Radio Moscow World Service

The following frequencies were observed in use September 3-6,
1994. There were a lot of changes, and more frequencies are heard
now compared to just two weeks ago. Most of the Ukranian senders
are notably absent, as discussed on recent Radio Netherlands' Media
Network shows. On the 3rd, I heard a new religious program (akin to
R Aum) at 15-16 UT; this one is based out of Germany. Not all the
frequencies were heard every day, e.g. 13615 heard on the 3rd, but
not the 4th or 5th.

Receivers and antennas used: Japan Radio Company NRD-535D with a
350-ft inverted L running NW at 90 feet, a 250-ft inverted-L
running SE with the apex at 80 feet and a Skywaves WAS-50 N-S at 40
feet. Also a Lowe HF-150 with a vertical random wire 75 feet long.
Also a Kenwood TS-940S with an 80m doublet, apex at 75 feet,
running N-S. I am in a location without local manmade noise where
the limitation is atmospheric noise only, on the fringes of the NJ
Pine Barrens in the southern part of the state. Your mileage may
vary.

This data, and more, is included in our data files and SCHEDULES
software. The software will load data into the NRD-535, NRD-525,
JST-135, HF-150, R-5000, most Kenwood HF transceivers, and the
AR-3000; R8 programs written by at least two authors also import
the data. The data is updated weekly and available by subscription
through a BBS. For a review of the software, see page 594 of the
1994 World Radio TV Handbook. For a catalog, download TRS_CAT.EXE
from GEnie or Pics OnLine BBS (type SWL at a main menu prompt) or
send your postal mailing address.
