Animating Objects

There are two ways to animated objects with
PageMaster.
The first way is to drag and drop the animation
box that is attatched to the top left corner of
every object added to the page. This sets the
path of the animation automatically. You will
then be prompted for an animation name.
Every animated object must have an
animation name that is unique and must be
different than the objects "ID" property.
The second way is to select the object you
want animated, then click down arrow that shows
when the "Path" property is selected.
Again, you will be prompted for the animation
name.

To stop the object from being animated
turn the objects "Animated" property to
false.

The "On finish" property sets the action that
will be taken when this objects animation
ends. Values for this property can be set to
"show" which allows the object to be visible
after it's animation has ended, or hide which
makes the object invisible.

Set the objects visible property to "hidden"
in the property window to hide the object
until the animation begins.

The speed property sets the time in
milliseconds between frames. Therefore,
a higher setting is a slower speed, a lower
setting is a faster speed.

The start time property is used to set the time
the animation will start after the page has
finished loading. Every object must have a
different start time. The start time value is
incremented by 1/100th of a second. This means
that a value of 1 starts the animation at 0.01 of
a second after the page has loaded.

To have the animation for an object start at the
end of another objects animation, select the
object that will start the others animation, click the
on finish property box, then the down arrow. This
will allow you to set other objects animations to
start at the end of the start objects animation.
Then select the object whose animation will start,
if the "start time" property is set to anything above
0 then the object will be animated at the start
time specified as well as the end of the starter
objects animation.
If you only want the object to be animated at
the end of anothers then set the start time
property to 0.

The Loop property sets whether the objects
animation will repeat without end.

The Steps property is only used when the object
is animated using the animation box. The animation
box creates animations that have paths in a straight
line. These paths can then be set to a number of
steps from the first point to the end point. The steps
property sets the number of steps between point A
and point B.
