Helvetic Airways was founded in 2003 by renaming the old Odette Airways to Helvetic Airways. It first operated with three Fokker 100
planes but is today using only Embraer 190 machines. Helvetic has now a cooperation agreement with Lufthansa/Swiss and is operating
several of Swiss' flights on a wet lease principle. This machine HB-JWV is an Embraer 195LR which was first taken in use by Azul Linhas
Aereas in 2011.
