Run's under BSD computers that have at lease some SV enhancements.

Uses Gawk, an implemention of new awk by the Free Software Foundation.

Is freely copyable but copyrighted.

Supports the mailing of multiple files, binary files and large files.

Lets the user decide the form of encoding, archiving and compression

Supports multiple languages

Does not require root priv's to run.

Can be easily tailored to use resources as the administrator sees fit.

Simple user interface.

Very little maintence is required by the archive manager.

Extensive accounting is maintained so that you know what files are being
retrieved and by whom.

Parses incoming mail headers according to RFC822 spec (well almost a
little different but you will never notice)


About 30 seconds of cpu is required per message on a sun3/260.
