For my first beta compile in a long while, this went rather smoothly.
There are some major gnus problems for me and my setup, but upgrading
to 5.4.61 fixed those.  Now to get back to the changes I was in the
midst of before I got buried alive at work...

A quick note: doing a make of any variety seems to redump
XEmacs... why?  Even make install.
