is my sentiment.  I think (B) is generally true.

again, I know that hm--html-minor-mode works.  it adds
context-dependent menus for every mode I've ever tried it with (i.e. the 
latest version of hm--html).  so I guess Heiko did something right.

huh?  I don't know where this came from.

my original point: Mailcrypt has some problems.  That's all.  Maybe the
argument that it's the VMers' problem.  I'll partially accept this, and
see if it's fixable.  But I wrote to this list b/c I am not the ideal
person to attempt such a fix.
