The 20.0 release is going to be this weekend. I plan on releasing
beta91 on Wednesday evening (US Pacific time), January 22, and 20.0 on
Saturday 25 to the beta list. If all goes well, a net wide
announcement will be made Sunday, and the source moved into the
general FTP area.

20.0 is going to be an Emacs-style source only release. We'll resume
the usual binary distributions with 20.1 once we get an idea of what
kind of binaries we need to be building. I'm going to open 20.1-b1
and start applying bug fixes and delayed patches immediately.

The cycle for 20.1 will be short and its release will be timed so
that it does not conflict with the release of 19.15. 20.1 is open for
new features so long as they aren't destabilizing.
