Here are the descriptions of packages (in SVR4 pkgadd format) on the CD:

(mrb@xemacs) ~/x/pkgs/sparc-S2 $ g DESC */pkginfo
SPROmrxm/pkginfo:5:DESC=The XEmacs editor - online documentation
SPROxmbin/pkginfo:5:DESC=The XEmacs editor - architecture-dependent run-time kit
SPROxmshr/pkginfo:5:DESC=The XEmacs editor - architecture-independent run-time kit
SPROxmsrc/pkginfo:5:DESC=The XEmacs editor - source distribution

So yes, source is included. However, if you are going to build from
source, it's generally a better idea to get the latest Net
distribution from ftp.xemacs.org. Anyways, that's what I am recommending.

Martin
