ViewMail crashes when it opens a new window. It has since 19.14, the
first XEmacs I've used. (VM works in FSF Emacs without crashing.)
The Xfaces work fine; I can see them. I've sent in several crash
reports to crashes@xemacs.org. It always segmenation faults when it
opens a 'R' reply window. I compiled with all athena/Lucid widgets.

{C-x 5 2} sometimes crashes it also. The bug seems to happen only
after ViewMail has been run. (It occurs to me to disable its toolbar,
and try it then. I will, if I can figure out how to do that.)

To try and find out if the libcompface was causing the crash, I
recompiled it. Same thing still happens.

ViewMail works fine if I set all of the frame-per variables to nil,
except for the annoying blank band on the left when I 'R'eply. Where
the toolbar used to be is a band with un-eraseable text drawn in it.
If I minimize or move to another fvwm desktop and then come back, it
becomes a blank margin. The modeline doesn't reach there either.

At one point, they were telling me that I had a hardware bug; gcc was
seg faulting too. It turns out my CPU fan had quit, and when the
computer got hot, it glitched a lot. When I fixed that, the VM crash
still happened, and now, I'm on a new motherboard, and its there still
too.

I'm not qualified to debug this, or I'd help you all. Sorry. I'm
learning, but only so much in a day, you know.

Should I keep sending crash reports, or have you seen enough? Are
there others who've experienced this problem?
