Now this is weird.  I previously reported that with 20.1b2 on hpux9.05
I have twice seen the modeline stop getting updates, with the time
freezing permanently.

Now get this.  On two different xemacs on two different machines I
have the time frozen at 4:18am.  What's that all about?
