I will try to make it much more colourfriendly. Also you are right
that the metallic effect is too noisy. But the one good idea (if I
have the right to say so... :-)) is the dim elisp code in the
background. As most comments said that they would prefer No. 1 maybe
I'll try another shot and combine the good things from both of them...
