Yes, but that's not my problem. The problem was that the logo doesn't
blend good with XEmacs new default background although I had blended
it into grey80, which is 204 204 204 on my machine. But after setting
'default manually to grey80, it worked better. So I thought that the
grey80 XEmacs uses was differing from mine.

But know I have discovered, that also the logo's blend doesn't reach
204 204 204 (or #cccccc) because of the quantization of the colors
from 24meg to 25. 

Though this doesn't solve the problem of setting 'default
to grey80 really changes something on my display (which it does)...
