If you're having problems with running out of colormap with the new
logo, try replacing etc/xemacs.xpm etc/xemacs-white.xpm and see if
that helps any.  xemacs-white.xpm uses about half the colors
xemacs.xpm uses.

As a further test, make the copy with a running XEmacs and invoke
`Help -> Basics -> Splash'.  If the previous version of the logo
appears that means it isn't getting garbage collected and its colormap
entries reused.
