Subject: Success: 19.15beta 100 with Linux and glibc 2 - problem gzip-el.sh

I've build XEmacs 19.15beta 100 with glibc 2 (current snapshot) on
Linux 2.0.29, i486.

The only problem is that make gzip-el doesn't work:
$ make gzip-el
lib-src/gzip-el.sh /usr/lib/xemacs-19.15-b100/lisp
make: lib-src/gzip-el.sh: Command not found
make: *** [gzip-el] Error 127

The file doesn't appear in my build-directory!

Configured for `i486-unknown-linux2.0.29'.

Where should the build process find the source code? /mnt/xemacs/xemacs-19.15-betaXX
What installation prefix should install use? /usr
What operating system and machine description files should XEmacs use?
        `s/linux.h' and `m/intel386.h'
What compiler should XEmacs be built with? gcc -O3 -g
Should XEmacs use the GNU version of malloc? no
(User chose not to use GNU allocators.)
Should XEmacs use the relocating allocator for buffers? yes
What window system should XEmacs use? x11
Where do we find X Windows header files? /usr/X11R6/include
Where do we find X Windows libraries? /usr/X11R6/lib

Please note that I've patched XEmacs to use system malloc with the
actual glibc snapshot (it's absolutly impossibly to use system malloc
with glibc 2.0.1).
