Agreed but it is reality.  This is one of those areas where the fact
that XEmacs is actually a text editor and is 20+ years shows through.

They would be trivial for me :-)  Or at least they would have been at
some point in time which may or may not include the present.
Actually, straightforward is more like it.  Trivial also tends to
imply less than 30 minutes worth of work and that is definitely not
the case here.
