Yes, David, I sometimes think this is a write-only list, given the
number of times the same problems are reported.

I have agreed to set up a list of "blessed" patches for the releases.
Perhaps we can extend this idea to include beta releases, as well..
If anyone has any more suggestions, please send them to the list.
