I just tried nnmail-split-fancy myself and it works as
expected. I don't really what to do...

Is your spool-file actually a normal unix mail spool? Of course it
is, as the problem seems not to be with the scanning and recognizing
of mail boundaries, as you wouldn't be able to cure the error by not
using the gnus group display feature... Strange.

If you wouldn't be alarmed by breaking your privacy, you can still
send me the (header content) of a sample spool file that breaks
time.el. Just remove (or better: replace with bogus content) the body
of the messages and send me the complete file. As I previously said
already, I can quite understand if you /don't/ want to do this because
of privacy concerns...

Maybe anyone has a idea what could be goin' wrong here?
