I tried beta15 (using a fresh tarball), but it dumped core on the same
line. I wrote a small test code that only open "/dev/dsp", and it
worked without problem. I don't know the internal of XEmacs, and I
have no idea what I can do next.

Is there anyone who tried "--with-sound=native" on BSDI's BSD/OS ? I
wonder about my environment...
