It might be useful to enumerate these.  The packages that will need
rebytecompilation will have to be documented.  Many, like Red Gnus,
work fine bytecompiled by XEmacs 19.1[45].

That was a slight change that didn't get correctly put into both
versions (19.15 is correct).  It should be O.K. in the next beta.

Look for the `gzip -9' line in the top level Makefile, and change it

This is a problem introduced since 19.14.  The configure script is now
non-portable to /bin/sh being an sh work-alike like bash.  Martin,
have you found a fix for this yet?
