I'm sorry that I did not tell the situation.
I'd test w3 hotlist menu both on Solaris2.5/Motif and FreeBSD w/o
Motif(but with my patch Steven said).
And I got just same result on both cases.

With Motif 1.2 or later, XEmacs can represent bilingual (multibyte)
characters at the same time on lucid menu, I think.
