Implementation of mouse on Linux console. Myths that GPM is
compatible with xterm mouse sequences seem to circulate on a regular
basis, but I've seen them disputed many times (one of the disputers
being Bill Perry, if I remember correctly).

Bill, would it be possible to tweak GPM support to recognize xterm
mouse sequences too? Or does it -- gasp -- do so by default?

I don't think so -- it's a Linux daemon, and runs on console only.
