Fresh tarball(s), things appear to be working mostly ok.  A few things
though.

1) Ebola warning when finding a file and completely erasing the minibuffer
   and then hitting ~ or /
2) Loads of apparent ebola warnings when loading EFS, ending with an error:
   can't bind M-n: ESC has a non-keymap binding: self-insert-command
