GNU Emacs 19.35 has not come out.  It will likely never come out,
since RMS decided to just merge in the MULE stuff and go for 20.1
instead.  I don't think there will be a release until some more time
passes.

Huh?  No more incompatibility than between 19.34 and 19.15, I'd say.
