Hey, I didn't say it was bad, just not good. :-) Besides, I used to
run XEmacs 19.1[12] over a 9600 baud line a few years ago.  It was
actually quite usable.  I expect 20.x is pretty decent now, especially
if I turn off the menubar, the toolbar, and scrollbars.  Of course, at 
this point, I might as well use the tty version. :-)  (Almost---the
colors don't show up well on my default xterm gray background color,
and, of course, all of the fonts are gone.)
