I imagine the problem is that you are using a buggy version of avoid.el
that moves the mouse cursor at inappropriate times.  I do not see the
behavior you describe under InfoDock as I just tested for it.  Recent
XEmacs betas should have the same code.

Some of our users enjoy the avoid.el feature, including myself and don't
want to have to install yet-another platform-specific executable to get
this behavior within our daily operating environments.
