Skulking Vermin has agreed to work side-by-side with us in the exploration and survey of our world. Welcome aboard, brothers! THE NEW ATLAS The addition of Skulking Vermin to our membership makes possible the revision and expansion of the original Atlas. Henceforth, it will consist of not *one* main map, but *two*. The first will show landforms, vegetation, and population centers; the second, factional and political boundaries. Since the latter are fluid and ever-changing, the Society will require constant informational updates form divers sources. ON BECOMING A MEMBER The RGS is a non-aligned, non-political Organization. Membership is open to all Factions in good standing. The criteria are as follows: o Charter Membership. A large, one-time gift of new mapping information, or agreement to undertake an RGS expedition, or a significant contribution of resources in support of the RGS cause. Charter Members will receive updates of the Atlas on a regular basis, and gain access to the RGS archives. o Affilitate Membership Any reasonable contribution of new mapping information entitles a Faction to Affiliate status. Affiliate Members receive an update of the Atlas upon each submission of new information. o Starting Factions. All recently-formed Factions are entitled to one copy of the New Atlas, free of obligation. We will also be happy to provide whatever advice and assistance our humble Organization can offer.
