I solved it a while ago.  I think it could have been a great game,
wasn't it for some annoying bugs, and various details that
made playing the game annoying.  Too much time was spent controlling
every character, remembering when they should eat, managing lots
of nearly useless objects into a multitude of small pouches (each
pouch had a different, colourful description...)

With a little more care and playtesting, it could have been really
close to capture the feeling of dice-and-paper roleplaying.
Perhaps it is so because it was produced when Infocom was about to shut down.
