I can't figure out how to successfully get past the guardian (the little
cube that floats at eye-level and seeks out heat-sources to vaporize.) I've
figured out that I can use the lamp as a heat source -- and have figured
out how to get the guardian to follow me. But when I drop the lamp, the
guardian destroys itself (which is good) and the lamp (which is not
so good.) How can I obtain another light source? And if that's not
possible, then what else besides the lamp can I use to trick the
guardian?

Once the lamp is destroyed, I'm plunged into darkness.

Anybody have any hints??

BTW, Unkuul I is fantastic. I know it's been out there for a year or two,
but I'm ecstatic that the old Infocom-type games are still being
created! I look forward to Unkuul 0 and 1/2!!

Thanks,
Chris
