I mentioned earlier that Infidel is one of my favorite infocom games. I loved
the diary and letter and I also have read it many times! I thought it was
one of the most atmospheric packages they made. I have the original package,
with the old-looking and feeling paper.

I don't think there is anyway out, and I don't want there to be. It was also
one of my favorite endings, very romantic!
I played it many times, and I remember a bug, where you could put things in
a doorway someplace, but they then disappeared. I sent a bug notice to
infocom, but I don't know if they fixed it. I've meant to ask on here, does
anyone have a list of Infocom bugs? A couple of my favorite that I can recall
offhand are:

Enchanter: one can type 'get water' anyplace and have your water container
refilled (as long as it has a little in it when you type it)
Beyond Zork: one can sell the butterfly, and then it flies out out of the
case, and then you can sell it again at double the price. Don't do this
pass 3^15 coins, or it will overflow :)
Zork III: one could avoid the scenic vista table use by putting the lamp
in the chest. This is fixed on the version I now use (gleaned from LTOI).

Anyone like to add their favorites?
