I posted this in comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.adventure, but NOBODY has responded
to it. And I KNOW somebody out there has the answer....

I've just gotten around to playing EOB(1), and I'm now in the Drow City.
I know where the Dwarven Prince is and can rescue him, etc. I have yet
to finish exploring the higher levels of the Drow City, though. What is
annoying me right now is the room with the "Combination Lock". It's got
six buttons linked to six magic missile shooters. Two floor buttons trigger
the shooter associated with the closest button. There's a sign prior to
entering that says, "Combination Lock -- Be Quick". At the other corner is
a door that can be opened with a key found inside the room. Beyond is a
door that has no lock or button (although I've fallen into the room beyond
from the level above and found nothing there except an Extra Healing Poition).
There's also a section that, with a little ingenuity, leads to another
stair down. Normally, the "Combination Lock" wouldn't be annoying me, but
there's a large section of the map for that level that is unreachable, so
I'm thinking that the "Combination Lock" does SOMETHING. Any ideas?
