In a previous article, gt4476a@prism.gatech.EDU (Mike Alberghini) says:

C.H.A.T. system:
debra.doc.ca (192.16.212.15)
login as "chat"

It's not precisely an AI experiment, but a "conversational hypertext" system
that's been applied to a couple of AI-like designs (in addition to Maur
there's a conversation with a psych student). One of the administrators at
this freenet site is involved with the C.H.A.T. project.

I finally did get out of Maur's cave alive. ;)

You may have initially heard of it through HyTelnet (access.usask.ca, login
hytelnet).
