So, I'm figuring on taking the plunge and finally purchasing those
grad-career-destroying-pieces-of-heaven, namely LTOI 1 & 2 on CD-ROM for
the Macintosh. When I called the Activision/Infocom order line
(1-800-477-3650), they quoted me $79.95 (US) and $59.95 (US) for 1 and 2
respectively. They're both ten bucks more expensive than the same thing
on disks, but I figure they ought to last forever. Is there any reason I
should consider buying on disks rather than CD-ROM (like more up-to-date
revisions)? And does anyone know somewhere where I can get better prices
than these?

Thanks,

Greg Donoho
