I thought ZN was a good game. I have *not* played RTZ, due largely to 
comments like yours.

The puzzles are very well integrated, especially for the modern genre of 
CD-ROM games. The story is not great literature, but at least there is one.

It has nothing to do with Zork. There are a lot of Zork references, which 
have nothing to do with the background *or* the story, so you're best off 
ignoring them.
