I would like to announce the availabilty of the first version of
Vertigo v0.1, a public domain flight simulator.

Emphasis is on realism of the flight model, while graphics and 
scenery are very simple.

You can fly a variety of aircraft:
   
   Sports-plane with nose- or tail-wheel, capable of most aerobatics 
   maneuvers.
   F-104 Starfighter : Pay for the speed with limited maneuverability.
   U-2               : Try out the odd combination of a jet and a glider.
   Harrier           : A real challenge to master it while hovering.

You can get the simulator by anonymous ftp to
aauobs.obs.aau.dk and get pub/norup/vertigo/ver01.zip
