XTeXcad 2.4.1

Fixed crash on startup ("parent is not composite") for
	XFree86 version 4.

New email address! New download location! See README.

XTeXcad 2.4

Now recognizes the \qbezier command of LaTeX2e.

Fixed line counting problems and made reading files more robust.

The following changes are due to Notker Amann
	<amann@isr.uni-stuttgart.de>:

Lots of X resources for the options and other things have been
introduced: for the grid, slopes, diameters, ruler,
cross, lengths, backup suffix, zoom factor.

Added Copy ability to Edit menu.

	Added zoom ability.

After loading, all objects are now scaled so that 1pt
corresponds approximately to 1 screen pixel. This makes loading
of files with different \unitlength easy and their display
comparable, but causes some other problems.

Made Grid, Shift and Coordinates relative to \unitlength.

Added \unitlength 'em' as possible unit. This is a useful
unitlength because it is relative to the current font size
(for example, it is possible to use the same picture in slides
and article), but it is not defined exactly and this causes
	problems with circles/disks.

The dash length of boxes is now read in while loading and is
automatically defined as 5pt when creating dashboxes.

There are explicit warnings about \thicklines and
\thinlines while loading, but they are still ignored.

Removed bug where the first object is incorrectly read if the
\begin{picture} command has only two instead of four coordinates.

When saving, the coordinate origin is always at (0,0) and all
	objects are shifted appropriately.

Removed bug where text is not snapped to grid properly.

Text in boxes is limited to fit into the box for display. Text
without box is limited to 10 letters for display. (Text is
saved to file in its full length!)

Mixing up of circle/disk diameter and radius cleaned up.

Objects are written to files in the same order as they were read
	in.

A bug where the coordinate display was not erased properly was
	removed.

Fallback resources have been added so that the application
defaults resources file XTeXcad does not need to be installed.

XTeXcad 2.3

Filename of currently edited file is remebered and shown in the
	title bar.

	Added "Save As" menu entry.

XTeXcad 2.2.1

Initial unit length, initial grid distance, and initial offset in
shift dialog setable through resources (also fixes that unit length
is initially 0.0pt). (Bug reported by several people; thanks to
	<Stefan.Dalibor@informatik.uni-erlangen.de> for suggestions.)

Coordinate display uses fixed width font by default.
	(Thanks to Mel Melchner <mjm@research.att.com>.)

	Fixed bug in Edit->Edit Text.

XTeXcad 2.2

Selecting objects is now better, but still needs work.

Now a file can be specified at the command line.

XTeXcad 2.1

Included mechanism for selecting objects and modifying them.
Selecting objects is still too stuip.

XTeXcad 2.0.a

Extensive rewrite of version 1.2 by Klaus Zitzmann
	<zitzmann@infko.uni-koblenz.de>.

	Completely new user interface.

	Lacks some features of 1.2:
zooming: Was too inflexible. Will come with one of the next
			releases.
editing of already created objects: The reason is that this
was implemented in a VERY dirty and non-toolkit-ish
way. Must be written completely new.
		shadowed boxes
file name on cmd line is ignored.

	New features including:
		- Font of texts can be customized with resources.
		- Font of ruler can be customized with resources.
		- Output file is placed inside a group to protect \unitlength.
		- Ruler unit is in terms of \unitlength, i.e. if \unitlength
is changed in the file, picture will be displayed with the
		  same size.

XTeXcad 1.2

Original version (please correct me if this is wrong).
