This message is being sent to you automatically in response to the message you sent to \junoaddress with subject "remailer-help".

This remailer is a Type1 (C-punks) remailer. The best way to use this remailer is to download a copy of Private Idaho from "http://www.eskimo.com/~joelm/pi.html" or "http://pgp.rivertown.net".

Some information can be sent to you by the remailer by including the following commands (one per message) in the subject line of mail to the remailer.

  nym-help The help file using the remailer's
                        pseudonym services.

  remailer-help         This file.

  remailer-key The remailer key file for this
                        remailer.

  remailer-stats The remailer statistics and your current
                        blocking status

  block block the receipt of anon messages

I have an automated mail handling program installed on my account at \junoaddress which will take any message in the proper format and automatically re-send it anonymously.

Here is an example message going to somebody@somewhere.com (disregard the "> " before each line):

> From: you@domain.com
> To: \junoaddress
> Subject: anything
>
> ::
> Anon-To: somebody@somewhere.com
>
> Hello, this is a test.

If you want a subject on your remailed message that is different from the subject of the original message, use header pasting like this:

> From: you@domain.com
> To: \junoaddress
> Subject: anything
>
> ::
> Anon-To: somebody@somewhere.com
>
> ##
> Subject: The desired subject
>
> Hello, this is a test.

To post your message to USENET, use this format:

> From: you@domain.com
> To: \junoaddress
> Subject: anything
>
> ::
> Anon-Post-To: first.newsgroup,second.newsgroup,nth.newsgroup
>
> ##
> Subject: The desired subject
>
> Hello world!

The remailer utilizes a variety of mail2news servers to accomplish USENET posting, so many groups may not be available depending on the server being used at the time. At most, a single message can be cross-posted to five newsgroups.

For increased security, you can encrypt your message with the remailer's PGP public key. Obtain the key by sending a blank message to \junoaddress with Subject: remailer-key .

Create your message as shown above, then encrypt the message body. You will need to inform the remailer that you are sending an encrypted packet by adding a header to the message as shown below. If you forget this, the remailer won't know that it needs to be decrypted and the message will be deleted.
