Solitary - Kahlan 2004 ------------ Release 2: Fixed the "can't quit, only jump" bug. -- A quick primer for newbies: This is a text adventure game. Try such commands as: "take object" "eat object" "inventory" "examine object" [shortened to "x object"] "scream" Other commands are available too, it's up to you to figure out what's appropriate. Try "help" or "hint" if you're frustrated. ---------------------- Quick notes: This is a one room game, and is intended as drama. The game is not puzzle orienated at all, but story orienated. As such, it's really more -fiction- , than really game. Some of the points ultimately require you to put yourself in the feet of the Player Character, although this is difficult since half the game is really, discovering who you are. The game takes place in a single room, so it's pretty important to read carefully rather than pick up everything and run in circles. Examining things is extremely important. The scoring system will give you points for both doing an appropriate action, and for examining things enough to reveal the story. For the ending, I originally had a little more freedom there, but I found that too many people tended to miss the point of the story.
