Subject: Any curved spars available?


Something I am building requires a curved spar, just slightly curved
like 1 to 3 inches of bend for each foot of spar.  Any material is OK,
however the bend must be maintained without use of strings, etc. and the
spar must be flexible (springing back to it's original curved shape).
Metal would be too heavy, with the execption of aluminum tubing which
bends and doesn't spring back.  Curved bamboo or fiberglass would be ideal,
but I don't know where to find it.  Is there a way to bend fiberglass
tubing/rods without weakening?
