Subject: Kite Groups in / near Manchester?

Does anyone know of any kite groups in or near the Manchester area?

I know of the Northern Kite Group but so far have had no success in
contacting Ron Ogden on his phone number - is he on holiday??

I have also been in touch with Keith at Krazy Kites in the Wirral, but so
far have not been able to locate anyone more local to the area I'm in
(Salford, to be precise).

Basically I need someone to give me a bit of practical help and advice
with my new Psycho - anyone wanna help me? :-)

Thanks

Helen.

wrong in it :)

Keep trying - I do not think he is away. I spoke to him last Friday.

The best I can suggest is take a trip down to Birmingham on Sunday and
join The Midlands Kite Fliers at their fly-in where help will be at
hand.

Other events are happening nearer to you later on in the year, and we
do have members in your area. I could put you in touch with them.

If you want more information or directions then email me, or phone me
on 01332 669203.

If you don't mind a bit of a drive. Why not come up to Lytham St.
Annes (near Blackpool). The West Coast Flyers meet there most
Sunday's, depending on the tides and the weather.

St. Annes beach must be about the best place for buggying in the
country. Today there was nearly 1 mile between sea and shore.

Directions:

Get on the M6 then either follow the signs for Lytham St. Annes
or carry on the Motorway and get on the M55 for Blackpool then
head for St. Annes.

Matt
