Well, I have been flying Revolutions in competition for over four years 
and I have never used Majick sticks in my routines. For me, they seem to 
throw off the weight when executing "hard" 1/4 turns, corners etc... 
However, they do have their place... I have seen many flyers use them to 
do tricks otherwise impossible without them... It all comes down to 
personal preference.
