IBM CICS OS/2 2.0 Early Introduction Program

The CICS OS/2 Version 2.0 Early Introduction Program is now available 
free of charge to members of the IBM World Wide Developer Assistance 
Program (DAP) that are currently developing or planning to develop
applications using CICS OS/2 (English version only).
         
                                                                                
CICS OS/2 Version 2.0 provides CICS transaction management to multiple 
users of LAN-attached programmable workstations and RTIC-attached ASCII 
terminals.  CICS OS/2 Version 2.0 operates as a server for clients, 
supports cooperative processing when required with other CICS family 
systems and provides powerful on-line transaction processing (OLTP) 
capabilities to support business critical applications and data in 
client/server environments.  In addition CICS OS/2 Version 2.0 provides 
enhanced CICS support for the single user at a stand-alone or 
host-attached workstation.

calling.  The beta code may also be downloaded from the Software Mall 
for those people who subscribe.

will be included in the package.  
                                                                                
The beta code is fixed to stop working one month after general 
availability of CICS OS/2 Version 2.0, ie.  October 24, 1993.
